Two of the most used resources in the library, Bloomberg and Refinitiv, provide two certification programs, available at no cost for all NSBE students.

Bloomberg Market Concepts certification
Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is a self-paced e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to the financial markets. BMC consists of 3 sections — Core Concepts (includes four modules – Economic Indicators, Currencies, Fixed Income, Equities), Getting Started on the Terminal and Portfolio Management. The sections are woven together from Bloomberg data, news, analytics and television. The course is available through the Bloomberg Terminal at BCER <GO> or through the Bloomberg for Education website.
Refinitiv Certification program
Refinitiv Certificates will broaden your knowledge of the tools used by the most successful financial markets professionals.
Using the training resources you will quickly become proficient in Refinitiv premium products. The OnDemand training allows you to learn at your desktop at your own pace. A final assessment will prove your knowledge to peers and future employers.
