The case explores a common challenge faced by many organizations: detailed annual plans that, although theoretically robust, do not keep up with the pace of external changes. In the case of PHC, a technology company, this reality became evident in 2021, when the market had already evolved significantly after the plan was drawn up. PHC’s leadership recognized the need for a more dynamic and adaptable strategic approach, adopting OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) as a solution. The methodology not only promoted more agile management but also improved organizational alignment, ensuring that individual and collective efforts were directed toward strategic objectives. The case analyzes the introduction of OKRs, addressing their benefits, such as transparency, flexibility, and alignment, as well as the challenges of this transition.
