Working Papers publishing

The School has had a Working Paper Series since January 1983 with over 600 working papers from faculty, researchers and PhD students.

The Working Paper Series is published in Open Access in the University’s Repository, SSRN (Elsevier) and is also harvested by RePEc.

In 2020 the name of the series was updated to Nova SBE Working Paper Series and in 2022 an Editorial Board was defined and all the papers submitted undergo peer review to guarantee quality and relevance.

Nova SBE Working Paper Series
Working Papers are pre-publication versions of academic articles, book chapters, or reviews. Papers posted on this series are in progress, under submission, or in press and forthcoming elsewhere. Publishing in Nova SBE Working Paper Series, in general, does not put at risk the possibility of publishing in a peer-reviewed journal, but the authors are responsible for guaranteeing that they comply with the publishers’ guidelines for authors.
The Nova SBE Working Paper Series welcomes research containing preliminary findings on all topics covered at the School. The series is meant to stimulate research and academic debate and new Working Papers are presented in the e-News Research.

Editorial Board
The editorial board is composed of the President of the Faculty Council (Managing Editor) and Academic Areas’ Coordinators and Knowledge Centers’ Academic Directors.

Nova SBE Working Paper Series Internal Policy is available via SharePoint.
