On March 4th, the Teresa e Alexandre Soares dos Santos Library, in collaboration with the Leadership for Impact Knowledge Center, organized the launch of the #leadership4impact collection. Representatives from students, faculty, and staff were present, and during the event, the head librarian, Susana Lopes, and the Executive Director of the Nova SBE Leadership for Impact Knowledge Center, Joana Castro e Costa, explained the project and welcomed everyone to the collection launch.
The event also featured a roundtable moderated by student Francisco Castro, President of the Leadership for Impact Student Club, with the participation of professors Jenny Hoobler, Academic Director of the Nova SBE Leadership for Impact Knowledge Center, and Ricardo Zózimo, Professor of Management and member of the Nova SBE Leadership for Impact Knowledge Center. They shared their reading recommendations and spoke about the importance of books in their academic and personal journeys.
The books recommended by the Knowledge Center are available throughout the library and can be identified by an LFI sticker. To access the list, simply search for the hashtag #leadership4impact in the library catalog available at https://library.novasbe.unl.pt/. Monthly, books from the collection will be highlighted on a dedicated shelf on the first floor, next to the magazines and reference desk.
