Gender Equality Dialogues: Gender Equality and healthcare

During this month’s dialogue we will discuss the intersections of healthcare and gender equality. We are interested in unpacking the impact gender has on one’s standard and access to care. Our discussion will center around the questions: In what ways is the agency of women and gender diverse people compromised in the Portuguese healthcare system, how is this similar or different to other countries and what is being done to bridge the equality gap? We will be hearing insights from student researchers who have worked with prompts provided to us by experts in the field.

This event is a collaboration between NOVA SBE Pride Association Student Club, Role to play, and the Teresa e Alexandre Soares dos Santos Library at NOVA SBE.
