Social Sciences Datalab – Safe Center

Safe Center

The Safe Center is a technological infrastructure available to the academic community for hosting data and processing data in Trusted Research Environments. The DataLab Safe Center is characterized by its highly secure, controlled, virtual machine-based systems that allow authorized researchers to analyze critical data without removing it.

To access or use the Safe Center facilities and processing resources, the available software tools are part of the DataLab Computing Services package. Given the nature of the secure research environment, the Conditions of Use of the DataLab Safe Center apply.

The Safe Center resources are accessible only physically, hosted in the DataLab Room B105 at Nova SBE.

You must request access to the Safe Center and/or computing services by form, acknowledging the applicable conditions, rules, and responsibilities.
